Over 45 years of dedicated service
New Prague, MN
Parkview Medical Clinic has a team of hardworking staff who are committed to quality patient care. We pride ourselves on the longevity of our staff, some of whom have been with the practice for over 20-40 years!
We have 3 full-time, 5 part-time and 2 casual nurses who are dedicated to our patients and the quality of care they receive at Parkview Medical Clinic.
Nurses meet with the patients to gather important information and vitals for the provider. They work closely with our doctors for each patient visit, administer shots, prep medications, prior authorizations, handle patient phone calls and assist with some procedures.
We have 1 full-time and 3 part-time lab staff. Our lab department is COLA and CLIA certified. Our lab director is Dr. O'Rourke.
Our lab staff are very thorough and caring of patients. Throughout the day, lab staff assist the providers with lab orders, bloodwork, testing and results. Two of our lab staff may assist in radiology when needed.
We have 1 full time and 1 casual radiology staff. Radiology staff conduct X-Rays and Dexa Scans. Radiology imaging is very important in patient care and we are proud to offer this service Mondays-Fridays.
We have 1 full-time and 2 part-time front desk staff. Front desk staff have one of the busiest and most multi-task oriented jobs in a medical clinic. They are responsible for patient appointment scheduling, phone call routing, verifying and entering demographics/insurance/patient information, collecting co-pays/balances, scanning/typing information, medical record releases, paperwork, etc.
Our Business Office consists of our Clinic Administrator, Coder and Accounts Recievable Representative, all of whom are full-time.
The Accounts Receivable Representative posts receipts, balances patient accounts, and connects with patients on billing questions and account balances/payment plans.
Our Coder submits provider claims/codes to insurance companies/payers for patient visits, assists with insurance denials/resubmissions as well as billing questions.
The Clinic Administrator oversees the daily operations of the entire medical practice.
We have 1 full-time staff who assists in coordinating patient referrals to other locations (such as specialty visits, surgeries, etc.) as well as insurance referrals. This staff is also responsible for routing requests/faxes to appropriate providers and staff. This role is important in coordinating patient care between our practice and outside providers/facilities to meet patient needs.
We have 3 part-time housekeeping staff who work to keep our clinic in great condition after hours in preparations for patient care.
